Hiroshi Nonaka was born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, in 1983.
He obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 from Kyoto University under the guidance of Professor Itaru Hamachi.
From 2010-2014, he worked as a research assistant professor in Shinsuke Sando laboratory in Kyushu University.
From 2014-2015, he worked as an assistant professor in Shinsuke Sando laboratory in The University of Tokyo.
From 2015-2019, he worked as a lecture in Shinsuke Sando laboratory in The University of Tokyo.
From 2019-, he works as a program specific associate professor in Itaru Hamachi laboratory in Kyoto University.
His research interests include chemical biology, bioorganic chemistry, and in vivo chemistry.
