Junior associate professor　　　窪田 亮　- Ryou Kubota - †

Ryou Kubota was born in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan, in 1985.
He received his Ph.D. in 2013 from The University of Tokyo under the supervision of Professor Mitsuhiko Shionoya.
He then joined Professor Itaru Hamachi’s group in Kyoto University as a postdoctoral researcher.
In 2015, he was promoted to an assistant professor.
In 2021, he was promoted to a junior associate professor.

His research interests involve coordination chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and chemical biology.
